I tasted their lamb biryani and that was so good. Amazing people, good ambience and good food. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you want to taste Nepali and South Indian cuisines.

It was my first time to try Nepalese food. Everything was really delicious. The chicken momo in particular were excellent, with a juices!
The restaurant was empty at 2pm, which was late in the lunch time, and it was a very quiet and calm space. I would definitely go back to eat there again!

I went there with my friends a few weeks ago! Taste of Nepal was best place for party with other people! And the foods were so delicious! I really recommend some menu like chicken momo, chicken Tikka Masala and butter chicken. Also, all clerks were so kind?

Great experience and food with traditional Nepalese hospitality! Quick service !
The naan was very soft and melted in the mouth ..( literally the best I had ) The Nepali mutton curry is a must try with the right amount of spice and heat .
Tea was a little cold .
The veg momos were not bland like other places and had a good filling and flavor with thin handmade wrappers ( not thick market bought )
Overall worth the price !
Will definitely revisit , one of our favorites in Chicagoland for traditional Nepalese food .
The owner and wait staff were very hospitable .

We visited Taste of Nepal based on its reviews but were left disappointed. We initially ordered fish tikka, but were told it was out of stock and switched to chicken Malai Kebab instead. However, we were unexpectedly served a bland fish fry that tasted more like a gram flour fritter, with no real flavor. The lamb dish was undercooked, with raw masalas and an overpowering raw chili powder taste—clear signs it wasn’t prepared properly. As a chef, I could tell. The momos were also disappointing, likely frozen and not cooked well, despite being promised they'd take 15 minutes. On the positive side, the naan was excellent—soft, warm, and perfectly cooked. Sadly, it wasn’t enough to save the overall experience.

This is my first time ordering from this place via Uber Eats due to the high reviews on Google. I have to say that the portions are way too “generous” for the price and for TX. A $14.99 chicken 65 is packed in a half full of appetizer container rather than a full container! Definitely not going back!

I recently went for lunch at this restaurant, and it was a culinary disaster. The food was not only undercooked but also lacking in flavor. The chicken momos was frozen and raw, rubbery pieces of chicken that were inedible. The veggie samosas were doughy and underbaked, making it nearly impossible to chew. To make matters worse, the service was bad, and the staff seemed indifferent to our complaints. I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment if you have any appreciation for properly prepared Nepali cuisine.

The food was just amazing, real Indian taste. I order chicken kadahi, even though the rice was less but the taste was still amazing. I also ordered some chicken soup which also tasted very nice, and it came with a side of papad.
